Cold-end treatment

In the fabrication of container glass (i.e. glass bottles of all kinds), the surface must be treated to preserve the quality of the final product, particularly in view of glass recycling programs. Cold-end treatment protects bottles against scuffing and ensures the necessary lubricating properties, machinability and conveyor compatibility in the fabrication and filling of returnable bottles, as well as in repeated washing and filling processes.

Cold-end treatment

Various dispersion products are available depending on the requirements. They naturally are compatible with the heat seal dispersions from Trüb Emulsions Chemie AG for any subsequent label or cap sealing processes.
